As a third generation soldier (retired, Army) I find it reassuring to find folks such as yourself exposing these so called “peace groups”. I want to share my findings concerning one of these peace groups based here in Nashville. The Center for Peace and Justice had the same street address and mailing address as the American Communist Party chapter of Tennessee. I say they “had” the same address….. until conerned citizens made the discovery and brought some much pressure on them, that they promptly moved out of the building. Be vigilant, because they’re looking for a new home.

I am glad to help with everything I can. My forum has over 19,000 post’s and we do cover this area. Although we focus mainly on Islam. The liberal left is aiding them. I am searching my site now for any and all stories on code pink. I will send anything I find and let you decide whether to use or not.
You may also do the same, there is an internal search engine. You may use anything there as you see fit, it is an exchange of info. I do this to educate, not to make an income. Just give credit where credit is due, (you know how it works).

You obviously did not get the point of this site. This is not a GW Bush fan club, nor for the most part is it to debate the validity or justification of the war, though I and many others support the fight against Islamofacism.

How is sending troops into an illegal & immoral occupation without a plan, adequate equipment and insufficient treatment back home considered support? The best way to support the troops is to get them out of harms’way. We don’t have any business in Iraq other than Cheney’s oil dreams.
I stumbled upon this site purely by chance and I have to say some of the stories I have read are truly horrifying. The way to peace is a struggle but to target young men and women who give their lives and limbs for the ideals of Democracy is evil and counterproductive. However, many of the people involved in the peace movement are reasonable and rational people who disagree with the policies of this government. I count myself among this group of people. I have participated in marches and demonstrations and have never witnessed any violent incidents. Yes, there is the fringe element that say kooky things and wear kooky clothes but they do not represent the majority. I just wanted to post here so that you and your readers might understand that we can disagree about the war but still disapprove of some of the same behaviors. There is no excuse for abusing veterans but associating the peace movement with these aptly named thugs is the same as associating all Christians with the Westboro Baptist Church (the “I Hate F*gs” church from Kansas). I hope that we can all agree that this country was built on free speech, civil disobedience and an overall ability to articulate “Don’t Tread on Me” through action and intellect.
By the way, lest you write me off as another liberal elitist or left coast crazy, I spent six years serving my country as an enlisted person (all served during the Bush years) and I am extremely proud of my service. God Bless.
